Tramadol

It is available under several brand names such as Ultram, Ultram ER, and Conzip, and also as generics. It can also be combined with acetaminophen (paracetamol) under the brand name Ultracet. 

Tapentadol

Tapentadol is a prescription medication classified as an opioid pain reliever, often referred to as a narcotic. It is specifically formulated to manage moderate to severe pain in patients who require consistent pain alleviation. The extended-release version, known as Nucynta ER, is intended for continuous pain management in cases where other pain medications have proven ineffective. Unlike other analgesics, Tapentadol is not designed for as-needed pain relief, emphasizing the importance of following prescribed dosages.
